WHO SHOULD I CHOOSE??? (2007)
I
The golden rule of democracy and the point of elections is to regularly change politicians in power, not to elect the same person more than twice in a row.
If you go to the polls regularly, but you always choose the same person, Eedik Näksipit, then you are killing the idea of democracy, flattening the democratic system of government and reproducing corruption!! Even by repeatedly choosing the same political party, which you may continue to like, democracy does not consider it right to repeatedly choose the same person and generate a cult of personality.
Find a new candidate this time, don't choose the same person you chose last time.
II
Not choosing the first 3 names on a party's list solves 10 problems at once.
Not to elect those who have been 98% part of the nomenklatura for the last 20 years, the inner circle of the Central Committee, who are advertised on TV and outdoors, whose admission has been 100% calculated by the backroom staff, and who are obedient voting machines controlled by the circuit, because otherwise you won't be the first:
1) Kunn - no
2) Bulge - no
3) Nun -no
4) Feel free to choose from the rest of the people listed below................
5)
6) etc.
Nothing bad will happen to an old veteran politician and a chicken freshly bred for elections if you give power not to these two this time, but to other people. Veterans and chickens will hang out in the political arena for the next 20 years, but when new players are involved in the sharing of power, decision-making will be much more honest, open, broad-based and, unfortunately, slower.
III
Very simple mechanical choices also help keep democracy alive.
If last time you chose a man, now choose a woman. If last time you chose an old man, now choose a middle-aged man. If last time you chose a face from a TV commercial, now choose the person next to you, the person who stands closest to you - a neighbor, a companion, a village elder, etc.
Vote for women if you want to reduce corruption and land/forest grabbing in the country of Estonia.
These matrices also fulfill the basic task of democracy - to change people in power.
IV
The idea of democracy is to give everyone a chance and keep the system of government in constant motion, change, and keep the country free from corruption.
Stupid voters, under the guise of democracy, produce self-proclaimed kings, petty fuhrers, local autocrats, and thus destroy their country and state - out of stupidity, ignorance, laziness.
Be a wise voter and change those in power, let the golden rule of democracy work!!!
Release the tiger from the cage!
V
Don't be a victim of advertising, outsmart them!
Fight for your freedom - with your unexpected and unpredictable choices a la Tarand!
The cliques/mudheads have based their plans on the assumption that you, as a vulgar primate, will choose the type they feed you, the type they have packaged and advertised for you, but this time you will do it completely differently than before. Don't walk into a trap voluntarily!
Don't choose any of the people who have sent you their ads and pictures and pens...even if you choose a completely unknown name, you have a 50/50 chance of getting a new player in politics who is more honest, smarter and better than the "love" personas or the smug cleaners or movers or ice cream vendors in the laundry detergent commercials.
Elections make you free - if you use your one vote skillfully, following the rules of democracy!
