COMRADE SIBUL DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE TEARS OF INDIVIDUAL CANDIDATES!
The author accuses the representative of the election commission, Sibula, of arbitrarily interpreting the law — individual candidates were excluded from the lists.
Why doesn't he believe? Because he is legally illiterate and politically biased? Hopefully still literate?
The law says:
§ 34. Voting room
(2) The polling station shall contain places for issuing ballot papers, voting booths and a ballot box. In a polling station where voting is organised outside the polling station of residence, there shall be a separate voting booth and ballot box in the polling station during advance voting for voters voting outside the polling station of residence.
The consolidated list of candidates for this constituency and the national lists of candidates are displayed in the voting room.
However, during the early voting, Sm. Sibul had put out the national lists of political parties , violently equating the word "candidates" with the word "political parties". The national lists were presented by political party — again an arbitrary interpretation. If the lists had been presented by electoral districts, the missing individual candidates would have been immediately visible and there would have been nothing to argue about.
Sm. Sibul explained that if the phrase were in the singular — "the national list of candidates" — then he would also include individual candidates. But an individual candidate is his own national list , sm. Sibul. The only answer to this statement is silence — a silent era that has imperceptibly arrived in Russia, even in the former territory of the ESSR, after Putin came to power.
By browsing the national list in the voting room, the voter makes a preliminary decision without seeing the individual candidates and is no longer able to look for them on the booth wall. In addition, the constitution also requires equal treatment of citizens.
So in every ten cases, Sibul is wrong in his legal interpretation. Instead of silence, I ask for public counterarguments to his claims and a clear answer — will there be 32 individual candidates on the general list of candidates tomorrow?
And then we come to such a strange thing as the meaning of the law . The meaning of the law is that before giving one person their only vote, the voter should see all the candidates in the country. Why does some idiot citizen, who according to cartel politicians should have been brainwashed enough to the extent of 400 million kroons, still need to see all the candidates? Why should a citizen named Kükametsa Kolla know about Saarepeedi Sassi's candidacy? But because a citizen has the right and freedom not to give his vote to a political party whose list includes a deportee or a former prosecutor who sentenced Johannes Hind to death in prison, or a municipal official who stole his plot of land, or a minister who has simply left his two complaints unanswered, etc.
Elections liberate, and citizens free themselves from a frozen system by casting their votes for new forces — this is the deepest meaning of democracy and its difference from monarchy and dictatorships.
So let's argue until tomorrow whether 32 citizens have any rights in this country or not, whether citizens are singular or plural — because future members of parliament need to practice their skills for independent living, asking themselves where to put a small comma in the historical sentence: kill, not pardon.
